General Information:
Some essential facts: 888 Racing housing spindled up by 2 mm because of 926 cc. All bearings and stud bolts renewed. 888 Racing crankshaft, finely balanced with various tungsten plugs. Original alternator to ensure suitability for everyday use. 926 Racing cylinder honed . Omega Racing pistons with rings. Racing primary. Multi-piece carbon racing airbox. New clutch. Racing valve springs. 888 SP5 cylinder heads with 35/30 valves. The heads have been reworked (valve seats + intake ports smoothed). A +G camshafts as on the SP5/SPS. All rocker arms renewed. Power according to Dymo test bench -Ducati Melle- 132 hp at rear wheel. Protocol available. Injection from SPS. Racing fuel pressure regulator. Brembo brake pump P19 adjustable. Brembo Racing brake calipers milled. Tangential racing exhaust system from Akrapovic, all fairing parts - tank, side parts, front parts, seat, rear part, wheel covers, clutch cover, timing belt covers, dashboard holder are all made of carbon. The Öhlins fork and suspension strut have been completely overhauled. Original Marcesini rims - no magnesium. No magnesium parts were used. 520 chain incl. sprocket as new. Tyres as new. Engine was run in for approx. 1,000 km. Has now approx. 1.100 km. No race track. Importance was placed on drivability and suitability for everyday use without neglecting performance and revving pleasure. This Ducati 888 SP4 was bought in 2020 because it is also an accident-free Ducati. The previous owner and his team have many years of experience in the handling of Ducati 888 motorbikes. We are pleased to be able to market this special Ducati 888 Race, because some experienced specialists have built up a special Ducati that will undoubtedly give the future enthusiast a lot of pleasure.
