TRIUMPH • Grand Prix 500
SOLD
First Registration:
1949
KW (HP) ccm:
29(40)500 ccm
General Information:
In 1946, racer Ernie Lyons won with a rebuilt Tiger 100 Twin. Triumph was now able to sell a small series of racing machines equipped with the 500 Twin. The contingent was limited because only a certain number of engine components were still available. This was because the engine parts came from a power generation unit for Royal Airforce fighter planes. Our Grand Prix has been restored and is ready to run.
