In 1960, Harley-Davidson acquired a stake in the Italian manufacturer Aermacchi, initially as a partner, and later, in the early 1970s, took full control of the company. Harley-Davidsons strategic aim in the takeover was to be able to offer motorbikes in the engine capacity classes up to 350 cc. The Sprint was a model that was mainly sold in the USA. Our Sprint is a scrambler version and has been on display in a small museum for the past few years. The vehicle documents are available.
