General Information:
The term "Panhead" is used to describe the engine unit that was used for many years from 1948. Its predecessor, the "knucklehead", underwent a complex redesign in which the oil lines were relocated to the inside. Equipped with cylinder heads that resembled the appearance of pans, the Panhead engine was created. Our machine still belongs to the Hydra-Glide models despite the rather late year of manufacture. These were first introduced in 1949 and were characterized by the hydraulic telescopic fork and rigid rear end.
The vehicle is in moderate condition and shows signs of use. We have the vehicle documents from the USA. There, 22,100 miles were noted as mileage. The speedometer was subsequently replaced. The vehicle was exported to Germany in 2017. Import documents and a German vehicle registration certificate are available. The Harley runs well with the current carburettor. But we also have the original carburettor.
