Our Max dates from 1954. A distinguishing feature is the full-hub drum brake. In this year, the engine power was increased by 2 hp. This is worth mentioning because in 1953 the Max with its 15 hp was already one of the most powerful motorbikes in the quarter-litre class. After all, the Max managed a top speed of 124 km/h in 1954. The competitor at the time, BMW, was at the start with 12 hp and 13 hp respectively. Our Max is in a very nice restored condition.
