Friedrich Geiger and Paul Bracq have significantly influenced the design of our Copupe W111. Together with the new development of the 3.5 liter V8 engine, this elegant Coupe was created. In small series Mercedes built the Coupe models mainly by hand. The design of the new engine now allowed for a flatter radiator, so the newly created model series became long known as the flat radiator.
Our vehicle is a German first delivery with matching numbers. In the past years the vehicle was restored extensively at specialized companies. In this context it was decided to choose the paint 040G and to renew the interior at the Hamburg company Weinhold. It is worth mentioning that the chrome parts were restored to a very good condition. As expected, the technology works first class, so this picture-perfect coupe is excellent to drive. The 280SE 3.5 is offered in cooperation with EBERHARD THIESEN Automobile Raritäten since 1972.
